Manuscripts submitted to Jurnal Inovasi Daerah will be automatically screened for plagiarism using Turnitin. Jurnal Inovasi Daerah is committed to upholding the highest standards of academic integrity and publication ethics. To ensure originality, all submitted manuscripts are subject to plagiarism screening using similarity detection software before entering the peer-review process.

Acceptable Similarity Threshold

The maximum similarity index allowed is 20% (excluding references and standard methodological content).

Any single source contributing more than 3% similarity will be further examined for potential plagiarism.

Types of Plagiarism
The following practices are considered serious ethical violations:-
Direct plagiarism: copying text, figures, or tables without proper citation.

Self-plagiarism: reusing significant portions of one’s own previously published work without proper acknowledgment.

Mosaic plagiarism: borrowing ideas or phrases without quotation marks or citation.

Inappropriate paraphrasing: rewording another author’s work without proper attribution.

Editorial Action

Manuscripts with minor similarity may be returned to authors for revision.

Manuscripts with major similarity will be rejected immediately.

Published articles later found to contain plagiarism will be retracted in accordance with the COPE Retraction Guidelines.

Author Responsibility
Authors are fully responsible for ensuring the originality of their work and for properly citing all sources used. Submission of a manuscript implies that it is free from plagiarism and has not been published or is under consideration elsewhere.
